JOINT SURVEILLANCE AND BODYGUARD COURSE –
Duration: 28 Days
The 28 day course is by far our most popular and carries not only the qualification for your SIA Licence but the RSP's reputation of professionalism and achievement that is highly respected throughout the world. Our training goes beyond SIA requirements and is backed by over twenty years of knowledge and teaching experience – this we will pass on to you making you highly employable upon qualification.
This is a 'no-nonsense', highly intensive course and students need to be highly motivated to complete it. The course is open to any individual or group who has the time to attend. This is the most comprehensive bodyguard course of its kind to be found and is taught to levels of excellence.
The course is open to civilians as no previous experience is required, only the interest to learn and determination to carry it through is necessary. Due to the high standards that can be achieved on this course ALL students who pass the SIA examination, regardless of background, will be able to seek employment within the industry. This can range from low threat work to high risk work in areas of conflict.

MARITIME SECURITY & OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION

This course offers firstly your open water ticket (P.A.D.I certificate). Then we look at the security implications of working within this industry in great detail. Luxury vessels are expensive assets that attract attention wherever they go. Whilst many people are content to observe and marvel from a distance, there are always those who will go that step further in order to fulfil their inquisitive nature and board a vessel given the opportunity. Executives, VIP’s or celebrities can also face other threats from press intrusion, kidnapping attempts, espionage and bugging.

SURVEILLANCE TRAINING –

The aim of this two week course is to train and qualify you as a Surveillance Operative with excellent surveillance skills. It will provide you with an insight into the world of Surveillance and utilizes realistic scenarios that will allow you to appreciate how challenging this field can be.
All the scenarios we will provide are realistic within the Close Protection field. This course is very demanding and will mentally and physically test you to your limit.

OPERATIONAL FLIGHT TRAINING
We at Raven Special Projects offer this unique service to all our personnel and trainees. Whether you want to gain your full Private Pilots Licence on either fixed wing or rotors or just spend a few hours on familiarization. We can suit all your needs and requirements.
We fully have qualified pilot instructors available in either fixed wing or rotors.

PARACHUTE TRAINING COURSE
The RAPS static line parachute courses are tailored so you jump the same day, weather permitting.
The course includes at least 6 hours intensive training where you learn the basics of skydiving.
You will leave the aircraft from around 3,200 feet. The ram-air canopy is activated automatically by static line as you fall away from the aircraft. Test your judgement in guiding the parachute wing to the landing area landing like an expert. This course is the prerequisite for learning to skydive. It is still very popular as a “one off” jump and is popular for raising money for charities. The RAPS Course is our preferred method of becoming a qualified skydiver. Once you have completed your first parachute jump, you can come back and with a little help from our friendly parachute instructors guide you through the category system to become a qualified skydiver.

Raven Special Projects five day Tactical Driving Course is second to none in the Close Protection industry. Our instructors are very highly trained and have been teaching and operational for many years in some of the most hostile areas in the world.
The courses are very realistic and bring the close protection trainee into the high risk operational duties that Close Protection drivers can find themselves in. The instructors will go through some personal experiences and also display their personal photos and videos for the discussion sessions.

HOSTAGE RESCUE TECHNIQUES

Raven Special Projects seven day course in Hostage Rescue techniques is designed for close protection officers operating in high risk environments. We are not teaching you to be your countries national HRT’s. Hostage Rescue Teams like SAS, Delta, GSG9, GEO, and GIGN. Though the techniques are the same, we work on a principle of the close protection team being separated from their principle/V.I.P in large facilities, government buildings, schools, oil fields etc as found in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Even though we teach more than just moving tactically clearing large facilities, the course is also aimed at law enforcement officers who day in day out risk their lives to protect and serve the public in an ever changing world of terrorism, drugs and weapons. Most of the personnel who attend the course come from law enforcement and military backgrounds, from police traffic officers to private soldiers and officers who, on a personal level, want to extend their training and knowledge in this sector.
